(Yicai Global) Jan. 10 -- A unit under New East New Materials Co. will team up with Duoling New Material Technology Co. to develop and manufacture electronic ink products to use with graphene.

New East Ink Co. and its Shanghai-based partner have penned a deal to improve the performance of their ink products, the parent company said in a statement on Jan. 9. Under the agreement, New East Ink will develop an electronic ink binder resin for graphene and work with Duoling's existing graphene production technologies to develop conductive electronic ink products.

Electronic ink is widely used in smartphones, computers and other electronic devices.

Duoling specializes in research, development and production of graphene and related products. Its main production base is located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, where New East New Materials is based, and has local government support, the statement said.
