(Yicai Global) Jan. 23 -- Chinese marketing services firm Yuanlong Yato Culture Communication Co. will invest CNY20 million (USD3.13 million) to acquire a 10 percent stake in online community startup Jingli Technology Co. in an effort to break into the mobile advertising sector.

Based in Beijing, Yuanlong Yato will use its own funds to purchase the stake from parent firm Shanghai Jingli Information Technology Co., the firm said in a press briefing.

The deal values the mobile marketer at CNY200 million, equivalent to that of its previous round of financing. Upon deal completion, Jingli Technology's board of directors will consist of five directors, with Yuanlong Yato recommending one of them.

Jingli Technology has developed a comprehensive community marketing and retail infrastructure platform, serving many maternity and childcare brands including Wyeth Nutrition and Kimberly Clark Corp. The platform covers tens of thousands of communities with one million users.

Jingli Technology derives revenues from sales of community management and marketing platform products to social media operators, service fees for community marketing solutions from mother and baby businesses, and platform commission generated by community retail sales.
