(Yicai Global) Oct. 16 -- Marine product developer Dalian Yi Qiao Sea Cucumber Co. [SHE:002447] plans to buy out an online gaming firm in a bid to branch out into the sector.

The firm's subsidiary Zhongcheng Yixin Asset Management Shanghai Co. has signed a framework agreement with several core shareholders of Chengdu Yumoon Technology Co. to buy a 100-percent stake in the firm.

Under the agreement, the buyer will pay in cash installments. Both parties will sign a definitive equity transfer agreement by Nov. 25. If no official document has been signed before Nov. 30, the deal will be voided.

Yumoon Technology is committed to the development of massively multiplayer online role-playing games, or MMORPGs. Its games Qin Ji, Magic Awakening and Six Doors have proved popular in mainland China, South Korea and Taiwan.
