(Yicai Global) June 4 -- Stocks got off to a sluggish start today on China's mainland as investors got cold feet over the market's future trend.
 

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.08 percent lower, while the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.03 percent. 

The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, started the day 0.09 percent weaker.
