(Yicai Global) March 5 -- China's stock markets opened lower today as investors took profits after shares rose recently, with financials leading the retreat.
The Shanghai Composite Index started off at 3,019.88, down 0.25 percent, while the Shenzhen Component Index dipped 0.19 percent to kick off at 9,366.77. The ChiNext price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, dropped 0.25 percent to 1,615.59.
