(Yicai Global) Nov. 28 -- Ehi Car Services Ltd. [NYSE:EHIC] said yesterday that its board of director has received a preliminary non-binding offer for privatization from the Chinese investment fund Goliath Advisors Ltd., Sina reported.

Goliath Advisors' Nov. 26 offer put forward a plan for the firm to purchase all the outstanding common shares of Ehi for USD13.35 per American Depositary Share (ADS) (equivalent to USD6.675 per common share).

The board of directors of Ehi intends to evaluate the offer. The board reminded its shareholders and other investors considering trading shares in the company that it has not made any decision on the proposal yet. The company cannot guarantee Goliath Advisors will submit a final offer and cannot ensure they will make a deal.

Established in January 2006, Ehi provides comprehensive car rental service for individuals and enterprises. It was the first car rental company in China with comprehensive e-commerce management. Headquartered in Shanghai, the group runs over 4,000 service outlets in more than 250 Chinese cities.
