(Yicai Global) Feb. 17 -- Beijing Sankuai Online Technology, the operator of Chinese online delivery platform Meituan, has recently registered a number of fresh trademarks.

The company has now got dibs on multiple suggestive trademarks such as Meituan Waimai Maicai Yekuai, which in Chinese means 'Meituan Takeaway Buy Food Fast' and Meituan Waimai Maiyao Yekuai ('Meituan Takeaway Buy Medicine Fast,' data on business data search platform Tianyancha show.

The Corvid-19 epidemic has caused China's urban residents to lean more heavily on delivery platforms to provide them with needed food and drugs.
