Born in Zhejiang province, China, Wendy Yu lives in London.She studied atboarding school in England from age 15. She went on to graduate from the London College of Fashion and later studied at the universities of Oxford and Tsinghua.
Yu learned how British aristocrats walk, talk and dress in a course at the London Season Academy in 2015. Upon completing the course, she was a guest at the UK's Queen Charlotte's Ball, one of the world's most prestigious. Her father also went to the event, which has a GBP2,500 (USD3,072) entry fee.
Sheenjoys imbibing the etiquette of the British upper class. "I'm very lucky," she said. "My father is a successful man. I just want to present myself in the right way." Yu is the youngest and only Chinese sponsor of both the British Fashion Council and the Fashion Trust.
