(Yicai Global) May 15 -- The added value of Chinese industrial companies with an annual revenue of over CNY20 million (USD2.9 million) increased 5.4 percent in April, according to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics. The figure rose 6.2 percent from January to April.
The total added value of large state-owned firms advanced 6 percent. The tally for joint-stock companies rose 6.3 percent, and that for privately owned ones was 5.1 percent up. Foreign-funded firms tailed the group with an increase of 2.5 percent.
