Chinese Banks Log USD32.7 Billion Forex Trade Deficit in First Half

(Yicai Global) July 18 -- China's banks recorded a CNY224.8 billion (USD32.7 billion) deficit in foreign exchange trade in the first half of 2019, according to data released by State Administration of Foreign Exchange today.

In June alone, the deficit was CNY132.8 billion.
