(Yicai Global) Oct. 21 -- Chinese banks issued yuan loans totaling CNY13.9 trillion (USD2 trillion) to real economy companies during the first ninth months of 2019, Huang Hong, vice chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, said at a press briefing today.
The figure was up CNY1.1 trillion from a year earlier, he added, saying most loans focused on infrastructure, manufacturing and private small- and micro-sized enterprises.
