(Yicai Global) Feb. 12 -- Chinese airlines have had a sub-50 percent load factor for passengers and cargo since Jan. 23, when Wuhan, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak, went into lockdown to reduce the spread of the disease.
The carriers have also dramatically reduced the number of flights they are operating, Xiong Jie, spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Administration, said at a press briefing today.
