China's Logistics Performance Index Rises 4.6 Points in November to 58.6 Amid Rising Domestic Demand

(Yicai Global) Dec. 5 -- China's Logistics Performance Index (LPI) rose 4.6 points to 58.6 in November compared to the previous month, driven by a continued rise in domestic demand a rebound in total business volumes, data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing show.

There was an uptick in activity related to supply chain procurement and sales, while the supply and demand situation was more balanced, said He Hui, deputy director of China Logistics Information Center.

The inventory turnover index rose 3.7 points to 53.8 compared to the month before, while the average inventory index fell 1.4 point to 52.6. The main business profit index went up 4.3 points to 54.4 and the logistics services pricing index rose 0.1 point to 50.
