(Yicai) March 12 -- Chinese car manufacturing robotics company Beiren Smart Manufacturing Technology has secured its second overseas order in less than 15 days.
Beiren will provide integrated solutions and smart manufacturing services, including design plans, equipment manufacturing, installation, and debugging, to the new energy vehicle chassis plant in China of a world’s leading auto parts and component supplier, the Suzhou-based company announced yesterday.
The order, which Beiren valued at CNY96.9 million (USD13.5 million) with taxes included, is worth about 13.1 percent of the company’s audited business revenue in 2022, Beiren added, noting that the project will not significantly impact its operating results this year.
On Feb. 27, Beiren received a EUR10.6 million (USD11.5 million) order from Marelli Suspension Systems to supply the Italian vehicle parts manufacturer with automated production lines for the assembly of rear subframes, which connect the front suspension with the body structure of cars, at Marelli’s factory in Italy.
Beiren specializes in industrial robot automation and intelligent system integration solutions for the auto industry. It provides customers with equipment, technology, and service turnkey engineering services.
Shares of Beiren [SHA: 688218] were trading up 1.5 percent at CNY19.18 (USD2.67) as of 2.30 p.m. in Shanghai today.
