China’s 01.AI Launches Enterprise LLM Platform for DeepSeek Deployment China’s 01.AI Launches Enterprise LLM Platform for DeepSeek Deployment

(Yicai) March 18 -- Chinese artificial intelligence startup 01.AI has launched a large language model platform offering tailored solutions for businesses to deploy DeepSeek’s AI models.

WanZhi Enterprise LLM Platform, released by 01.AI yesterday, is different from existing DeepSeek all-in-one platforms because it offers an integrated software-hardware solution at lower prices than its major competitors, according to the Beijing-based company’s founder Lee Kai-Fu.

01.AI integrated DeepSeek-R1 into its overseas AI application platform PopAI in February, becoming one of the first companies to do so.

This enthusiasm toward DeepSeek in China is similar to the global ChatGPT craze, Lee noted, adding that DeepSeek’s products are not only high-performing models but also open-source systems, which generated great international influence.

01.AI will no longer focus on developing standalone LLMs but instead prioritize products compatible with China’s mainstream models, Lee said in January in his first public commentary since the company’s business restructuring. 01.AI shifted its focus on developing lightweight models from training trillion-parameter-scale foundational models.

There are three challenges enterprises face when using DeepSeek’s AI models, Lee noted on that occasion.

First, DeepSeek’s AI models’ high deployment complexity requires specialized graphics processing unit configurations and data security measures. Second, they require high commercial features at the application layer. And last, they require customization, as companies need tailored platform support for model optimization and training.
