(Yicai Global) Jan. 2 -- A unit of Chinese Yinlun Machinery will provide heat pump air conditioning system parts to Jiangxi-province based Jiangling Group New Energy Automobile, also known as JMEV, to increase the efficiency of the latter's cars.
Yinlun Heat-Exchanger will supply JMEV with products with total sales worth around CNY687 million (USD99.9 million), the Nanchang-based industrial engineering company said in a statement yesterday, while projecting sales according to an estimate from its future client. The contract is expected to start in June 2020.
Heat pump AC can greatly improve new energy vehicles' energy-efficiency, the firm said, adding that the particular contract will help the firm to expand the thermal management market for NEVs.
Yinlun supplies renown carmakers, such as Ford Motor's joint venture in China, Groupe Renault's Chinese JV and General Motors, with heat exchangers, public data show.
