(Yicai Global) Oct. 10 -- China Wu Yi has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract worth USD180 million for a landfill project inMalaysia's Malacca City.
Malaysian developer SWT International has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Wu Yi's wholly owned subsidiary in the country, the Fujian-based firm said in a statement.
Wu Yi will carry out the EPC responsibilities while local unit Hong Yu will provide consulting and financing support. The company did not disclose more details of the project.
SWT International is a Malaysian developer that has built more than 180 waste incineration plant globally to date, including projects in 30 Chinese cities.
