(Yicai Global) Nov. 2 -- China will grant zero-tariff treatment to 97 percent of tax items from the Republic of The Gambia and the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe from Dec. 1.
The State Council Tariff Commission's Notice of Customs on the 2017 Tariff Adjustment lists the goods that will receive preferential treatment.
The country will put the scheme into effect in accordance with its Plan for Granting Zero-Tariff Treatment to 97 Percent of the Least Developed Countries' Tax Items, which the State Council approved, and relevant implementation procedures, the Ministry of Finance said.
