(Yicai Global) Nov. 25 -- Weighted mainland shares soared, causing the Shanghai stock market to rise at the close and precipitating a decline in the ChiNext.

The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.72 percent at 2,906.17 at the close. The Shenzhen Component Index dipped 0.01 percent to 9,626.36. The ChiNext, which focuses on Shenzhen's growth enterprises, fell 1.07 percent to 1,661.77.
