(Yicai Global) Nov. 29 -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu He delivered a keynote address at the closing ceremony of the 8th Hamburg Summit themed 'China meets Europe' in the north German port city on Nov. 27, state media Xinhua reported.

China and Germany sealed a comprehensive strategic partnership, and this cooperation has made significant progress in various fields, Liu said. Hamburg, which started working with China quite early on, is one of the cities in Germany and Europe that has attracted the most Chinese investment. 

Liu expressed the hope that the two sides will create a better environment for investment, and bolster their collaboration in manufacturing, digital economy, medium and small companies, and China's Belt and Road initiative to revive its ancient trade routes.
