(Yicai Global) June 18 -- China's Unistrong Science & Technology will provide technical services to northwestern China's Qinghai province with an aim to improve Big Data services provided for nations that participate in the Belt and Road initiative.
Unistrong penned a strategic cooperation agreement with Qinghai's provincial big data bureau to build a regional service center regarding the BeiDou navigation satellite system, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement yesterday. The center needs to pass a review of China's military and Qinghai's provincial government.
China has been adding space stations into its BeiDou system to provide more accurate coverage and wider services to countries that participate in the Belt and Road initiative, which is President Xi Jinping's signature development project that aims to rejuvenate the former Silk Road.
