(Yicai Global) June 25 -- The Chinese government will issue CNY2 billion (USD291 million) worth of yuan-based treasury bonds in Macao on July 4, China's Ministry of Finance said online today.

The issuance will support Macao's financial development and will be a milestone in the special administrative region's yuan market, the ministry added.
