(Yicai Global) Dec. 26 -- China will be home to 3 million fifth-generation wireless networks data plan users by the end of this year, said Wang Zhiqin, vice president of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, at a forum held in Beijing today.

Consumers can choose from the 24 handset models and seven other types of 5G devices released in China so far, Wang added.
