(Yicai Global) Nov. 3 – China's ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT) will accelerate the cultivation of industrial Internet platforms, and build a multi-level and systematic industrial Internet platform development system, Securities Times quoted Xie Shaofeng, director of the department of information and software service at MIIT as saying today.
MIIT will speed up the development of industrial Internet platforms, focusing on data collection, platform management, modeling analysis and key technologies such as connectivity between platforms, to build national cross-industry and interdisciplinary industrial Internet platforms as well as several digital networks and enterprise platforms.
The ministry will carry out an internet platform test, supporting industry alliance and encouraging cooperation between enterprises and scientific research institutions to jointly set up test verification platforms. It will carry out industrial internet platform technology validation and test assessment services featuring function, performance, suitability, safety, reliability and other services.
It will push forward all the enterprises to connect to the cloud and encourage small- and medium-sized enterprise business system to migrate to the cloud through financial support from government.
In addition, the ministry will also cultivate industrial apps, supporting software enterprises, industrial enterprises, research institutes and others to cooperate in a bid to expand industrial internet platforms in key industries.
