(Yicai Global) Feb. 28 -- China's mainland stock markets opened lower this morning as tech stocks, particularly semi-conductor firms, integrated circuit producers and Tesla suppliers, weighed them down.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened down 2.23 percent at 2,924.64, while the Shenzhen Component Index started 3.32 percent lower at 11,150.66. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, began down 3.75 percent at 2,114.32.
