(Yicai Global) June 14 -- China's three benchmark indexes drew back after a high opening. Hedging funds flowed into jewelry and gold stocks
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.26 percent lower to 2,903 for lunch, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.52 percent lower at 8,905. The ChiNext closed 0.48 percent lower at 1,473.
China's stocks market opened higher this morning. The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.08 percent at 2,913 points while the Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.06 percent higher at 8,957 points. The ChiNext started almost flat at 1,479 points.
Most stocks fell, besides jewelry and gold stocks. Eastern Gold Jade [SHA:600086] soared by the daily allowed maximum increase.
