China's Stock Markets Up Slightly as New Energy Vehicles Continue to Charge

(Yicai Global) Sept. 12 -- The benchmark indices of China's stock markets rose slightly as new energy vehicle shares kept accelerating in early trading today.

 The Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.12 percent to 3,380.13 points at 10.16 a.m.

 The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.24 percent to 11,080.04 points. The Growth Enterprise Index increased 0.12 percent to 1,898.73 points.

 The Shanghai Composite Index stood at 3,381.49 points at opening, 0.15% higher than its close yesterday at 3,376.42 points.

 The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 11,063.85 points, up 0.09% from yesterday's closing at 11,053.73 points.

 The Growth Enterprise Index lifted 0.06% to 1,897.52 points at the open, as against yesterday's closing at 1,896.38 points.
