(Yicai Global) Nov. 14 -- China's Stock Markets went limp in today's afternoon trading, with main indexes at one point dropping below the 5-day average, then rebounding a tad from the trough.
Only six sectors closed higher, including transportation, ferrous metal, coal and oil, real estate, insurance and the environmental industry, most of which are traditional fields.
The communications and internet sectors extended their losses this afternoon to over 3 percent down at the close. Over ten sectors dropped more than 1 percent.
The Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.53 percent to 3429.55 points at the closing bell, with turnover of CNY267.4 billion (USD40.27 billion). The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 11582.92 points, down 0.96 percent, with turnover of CNY336.3 billion. The Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies, was down 0.51 percent to 1896.72 points, with CNY93.27 billion exchanged.
