(Yicai Global) July 2 -- China's stock markets opened slightly lower following yesterday's giddy rise on positive trade signals over the weekend but are now trending back up again.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.08 percent lower at 3,042.58 this morning, while the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.15 percent at 9516.42. The ChiNext started off the day 0.14 percent weaker at 1,565.99.
Shipbuilding stocks led gains with a 3 percent average increase, while rare earth shares topped the losers with a 1.2 percent average decrease.
