China's Stock Markets Open Lower in Early Trading China's Stock Markets Open Lower in Early Trading

(Yicai Global) Nov. 15 -- Following their retreat from a high point yesterday, China's Stock Markets opened lower this morning, with main indexes immediately slipping below the five-day average.

The market performed feebly in trading all day yesterday, ending a six-day rise of the main indexes.

After opening 0.39% lower, the Shanghai Composite Index extended its drop 0.54% to 3,410.99 points at 10:05 a.m. today.

The Shenzhen Component Index was also down 0.47 percent to 11,528.51 points following an opening of 0.31 percent lower.

The Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies, dropped 0.61 percentage points to 1,885.19 points after shedding 0.21 percent at opening.
