(Yicai Global) July 26 -- China's mainland stock markets began the day lower, with gold-related shares among the top losers as the price for the safe-haven asset fell by USD20.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 2,928.06, down 0.3 percent. The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.4 percent to 9,310.65. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, slid 0.3 percent to 1,562.20.
