(Yicai Global) Sept. 21 -- China's stock markets slipped in early trading, while the non-ferrous metal stocks that rose sharply yesterday performed the worst this morning.

At 9.45 a.m., The Shanghai Composite Index slid 0.08 percent, to 3,363.44 points. The Shenzhen Component Index rose to 11,179.6 points, down 0.10 percent. The Growth Enterprise Index was at 1,892.73 points, unchanged from yesterday's close.

The non-ferrous metal shares that increased sharply yesterday have been among the worst performers this morning. Tibet Mineral Development Co. [SHE:000762] slumped to CNY22.99, down 4.80 percent. Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten Co. [SHE:002378] dropped to CNY14.17, down 3.47 percent, while Sichuan Western Resources Holding Co. [SHA:600139] dipped to CNY10.15, down 2.22 percent.
