(Yicai Global) July 23 -- Chinese stock markets closed higher overall in the morning, with fifth-generation wireless communications shares among the top gainers, even as their peers on the SSE Star Market fell flat today after doubling their listing prices on yesterday's dizzying first day of trading.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,888.93, up 0.07 percent. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.13 percent higher to 9,134.43. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, increased 0.7 percent to 1,526.56.
