(Yicai Global) June 17 -- China's stock markets dipped at the opening today, continuing decline from Friday while gold stocks were the worst-performers.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.05 percent lower at 2,880.42, while the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.03 percent at 8,807.48 and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, opened 0.23 percent lower at 1,450.56.
The gold stocks fell more than 1% at the opening.
