(Yicai Global) Feb. 21 -- China's aerospace equipment makers climbed today, spurred by a news report about progress in the country's efforts to send another man into space.

China Spacesat [SHA:600118] soared by the daily limit of 10 percent to CNY41.23 (USD5.90) in the afternoon. Hwa Create [SHE:300045] jumped 8.7 percent to CNY14.15.

Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday that the maiden flight of the Long March-5B rocket, carrying a trial version of China's new-generation manned spaceship, is likely to take place in April. The country is aiming to build a permanent space station by 2022.
