(Yicai Global) Nov. 8 -- Yamama Cement, a Saudi building materials company, has chosen a unit of China's Sinoma International Engineering, the world's biggest provider of cement engineering services, as its engineering, procurement, and construction contractor for a USD220 million cement factory project in Riyadh.

Sinoma Overseas Development inked an EPC contract with Yamama, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement yesterday.

The Chinese firm's subsidiary will be in charge of relocating and reconstructing an entire production line for cement clinker with a daily production capacity of 10,000 tons. That includes dismantling the existing plant, as well as designing, building and testing the new one. The company is also tasked with purchasing new production equipment and materials to replace some outdated tools.

Sinoma can design medium and large production lines for cement and related equipment, as well as provide EPC services, according to its website.

Sinoma's stock price [SHA: 600970] ended the day unchanged at CNY9.18 (USD1.30).
