Representatives of the two governments signed the agreement, which will come into effect on Feb. 9, in Beijing today. Visits of more than 30 days will still require a visa.
China has concluded various visa deals with 157 countries, including visa exemptions with 22 countries such as Singapore, the Maldives, and Kazakhstan.
It also has inked arrangements to ease entry with 44 countries, and more than 60 countries and regions have granted visa-free or visa-on-arrival convenience to Chinese passport holders.
