(Yicai Global) Nov. 13 -- China's stock markets held their upward trend in early trading today, after the major indexes reached 22-month highs during Friday's trading, led by banking shares which were up 1.58 percent.
Both the Shanghai Composite Index and the Shenzhen Component Index reached highs not seen since January last year during afternoon trading Friday.
At 10:15 a.m. today, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.34 percent to 3443.38 points after opening 0.07% higher.
The Shenzhen Component Index was up 0.25 percent to 11673.98 points after rising 0.12 percent at opening.
The Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies, rose 0.17 percent to 1903.78 points after opening 0.21 percent higher.
