(Yicai Global) March 30 -- China Railway Corp. will discount tickets for some bullet trains on 28 intercity rails from April 28 to the end of the year, with maximum discounts of 20 percent, up from 10 percent in previous trials, CRC said yesterday.

This is another large round of discounts since CRC started floating pilot ticket price cuts for bullet trains on 14 lines late last year.

The company will further adjust the price ratios of higher-class seats to those of second-class seats on high-speed trains factoring in travel comfort and different operating costs, per pricing laws and regulations.

CRC will also provide personalized services such as pick-ups and drop-offs that supply the needs of various travel groups and more differentiated, value-added services for corporate customers, group customers, star members and premium clients, it added.
