(Yicai Global) July 26 -- China Pacific Insurance Group will set up a CNY100 million (USD14.6 million) claim fund for businesses at the second China International Import Expo, which takes place this year

The Shanghai-based insurer is the designated provider for the CIIE and has tailored one-stop products and services for the expo's exhibitors and logistics service providers, including 16 basic and four premium offers, General Manager Li Jinsong of its strategic customer department said at a press briefing yesterday.

The CIIE services will cover the entire duration of the event, including preparation, venue operations, exhibitions and moving out, Li said. China Pacific will set up an online service platform for clients to buy insurance and declare their assets, run an English and Chinese telephone service, and set up a service window at the event, he added.

This year's CIIE again takes place in Shanghai and will run from Nov. 5 through Nov. 10.
