(Yicai Global) Sept. 11 -- Supreme People's Court of China has officially opened the nation's first smart court laboratory at the High People's Court of Guangdong Province, according to Nanfang Daily.

The lab opened yesterday and covers 440 square meters focusing on six functional areas: litigation services, case handling, court hearings, penalty enforcement, blockchain research and big data management.
