(Yicai Global) May 16 -- New home prices inched up 0.6 percent from the earlier month in 70 major Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, in April, according to data the National Bureau of Statistics released today. The monthly increase was about the same in March.
The cost of new houses climbed 0.8 percent in 31 second-tier cities and some 35 third-tier cities logged a 0.5 percent ascend.
