(Yicai Global) April 24 -- The China National Space Administration has revealed that it will name its first Mars exploration mission Tianwen-1.
China plans to launch the probe this year and orbit, land and explore the Red Planet in a single mission, Xinhua reported today, China’s Space Day.
The country dubbed April 24 Space Day on 2016 to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the launch of its first satellite, Dongfanghong-1. Today marks the 50th anniversary of China’s first space mission.
