(Yicai Global) Aug. 11 -- The overseas version of the mobile game King of Glory -- Arena of Valor, which was developed by the Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings Ltd. "Tencent") [HK:0700] was officially released in the European market today.

King of Glory (which, depending on region is also translated as Honor of Kings and called Strike of Kings in the US) is an MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game introduced by Tencent in 2015. As per public data, the number of registered users of the game has reached more than 200 million, with a peak DAU (daily active users) of 70 million, the largest number of users for an MOBA mobile game with in the world.

Since its release in 2015, the accumulative income of King of Glory has hit USD 1 billion, which is still increasing. Tencent has issued overseas versions of King of Glory in different regions of the world with different names, including the Korean version Penta Storm.

Although Arena of Valor has officially tapped the European market after this updating, Tencent said downloads of the game were unavailable in several regions of Europe until now.
