(Yicai Global) Dec. 24 -- China plans to introduce its first independent bill regarding vaccine management in the world's largest producer market for such products.

Chinese policymakers presented a draft at the seventh meeting of the standing committee of the 13th National People's Congress, with the aim to ensure a safe and standardized vaccine supply chain in China, state-backed Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.

The state will trace and control the quality of products, as well as analyze the immunization market, according to the draft.

China was caught in another vaccine scandal this year, after the Chinese government orderedChangchun Changsheng Life Sciences to suspend its production of substandard rabies jabs last July. The case has prompted the state to revise its drug regulations.
