China's Mainland Stock Markets Start Week Higher

(Yicai Global) Dec. 2 -- Stock markets on the Chinese mainland kicked off this week on the up after all three major benchmarks declined last week.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.09 percent higher at 2,874.45. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,603.02, up 0.22 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, began 0.32 percent higher at 1,670.16.
