(Yicai Global) Aug. 7 -- China's mainland stock markets opened higher this morning, recovering from significant drops in the first two days of this week.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.41 percent higher to 2,789.02. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 8,919.89, up 0.68 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, climbed 0.84 percent to 1,520.58.
