(Yicai Global) July 12 -- China's mainland stock markets maintained gains this afternoon to end a dreary week on a high note.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.44 percent higher at 2,930.55. The Shenzhen Component Index finished at 9,213.38, up 0.66 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, ended 0.26 percent higher at 1,518.07.
All three finished the week about 2 percent down overall, mostly caused by a nosedive on July 7.
