(Yicai Global) June 27 -- China's mainland stock markets rose throughout this morning after official data showed the nation's large industrial firms performed well last month.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.9 percent higher at 3,002.72 going into the break. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,246.11, up 1.36 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, hit the half-way point up 1.3 percent at 1,523.96.
Total profits at China's large industrial firms were up 1.1 percent annually in May, compared with a 3.7 percent decline in April, the National Bureau of Statistics said this morning.
