(Yicai Global) Dec. 23 -- China's largest gas field, Changqing Oil Field in Shaanxi province, has produced more than 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas so far this year, beating its largest ever annual output.

The field expects to have produced about 41.2 billion cubic meters by the end of the year, making up 25 percent of the national total, its developer China National Petroleum said today.
